Learn more →I'm Dale Jefferies, a web developer based in Devon. I build websites, web applications and digital tools — mostly for small businesses, clubs and organisations that need something built properly rather than bolted together from a page builder.
Most of what I build is PHP and MySQL on the backend, with vanilla JS or lightweight frameworks on the front. I try to keep things simple, fast and maintainable — sites that you can actually hand over to a client without a manual.
Ubique CMS is my own platform, built because most CMS options are either too complicated for small clients or too limited for anything interesting. It's modular — you get the core, and add bolt-ons like task management, email campaigns, or a field planner as you need them.
I'm also building In or Out — a sports team availability app that started as a solution for a local rugby club and has grown into a proper multi-team platform.
A CMS I built from scratch for small businesses that need real content control without the complexity of WordPress or the limitations of a page builder.
One codebase, deployed to any site. Each client gets their own database and config — fully isolated. The admin dashboard auto-discovers installed modules, so you only see what's relevant to your site.
